CNC Router Cutting FAQs

What materials can you CNC router cut?+
We CNC router cut all common engineering and decorative plastics including acrylic, polycarbonate, HDPE, foamed PVC, acetal, nylon, MDF, plywood, aluminium composite, and timber. Our router handles thick sheets that exceed laser capacity.
What is the difference between CNC routing and laser cutting?+
CNC routing uses a spinning cutter and is ideal for thicker materials, 3D profiling, pocketing, and edge detailing. Laser cutting is faster for thin sheet and produces a flame-polished edge on acrylic. We'll recommend the right method for your job.
What file formats do you accept for CNC routing?+
We accept DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, and AI vector files. If you only have a sketch or PDF drawing, our in-house CAD team can convert it into a production-ready file.
