What materials do you use for acrylic domes?+

We vacuum form our domes from high-quality cast and extruded acrylic (perspex) sheet. Clear, opal, frosted, tinted and coloured grades are all available, including UV-stable acrylic for outdoor and skylight applications. Wall thicknesses typically range from 2mm to 6mm depending on the dome size and intended use.

Can you make custom sizes and shapes?+

Yes — almost every dome we produce is made to order. We tool in-house, so we can form hemispherical, half-round, oval, square, rectangular and bullseye shapes from around 100mm up to 1500mm or more. Send us your diameter, height and any flange requirements and we'll quote your exact specification.

What are the typical lead times?+

Standard custom domes are usually ready within 5–10 working days from approval. If new tooling is required for an unusual size or shape, allow an extra 3–5 days. Urgent and race-week jobs can often be prioritised — call us on the Gold Coast to discuss your deadline.
