Holland's staff can help you design and then manufacture a range of products using our CAD software to create anything you want. We have over 4,500 fonts and a multitude of premade clipart images to choose from.

We will guide you on material choice as well as work within your budget — taking your project from a sketch, photo or rough idea through to a production-ready CAD file.

Supplying Your Own Files

Files can be sent via email or USB. All files are to be supplied with a dimensional drawing so sizes can be checked to ensure the file has been imported to the correct scale.

The following file extensions can be imported into our systems:

ONE CNC — using the file extension of .xfa

AUTOCAD — using the file extension of .dxf or .dwg

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR — using the file extension of .ai or .eps

CORELDRAW — using the file extension of .cdr

PROFILE LAB 7.1 — using the file extension of .cdl

STEP / IGES — for 3D engineering models

NOTE: All files must be supplied as "vectorised drawings" or paths. Programming - An additional charge will be incurred to CNC design, layout or nest product on the material to be cut.

Design Service FAQs

Do I need to supply my own artwork?+

No. If you have artwork or CAD files we'll work from them, but our in-house design team can also create your project from a brief, sketch, or photograph using CAD and graphic design software.

What file formats can you accept for design work?+

We accept DXF, DWG, AI, EPS, CDR, SVG, STEP, and IGES files. Files should be vector-based for cutting and engraving. Bitmap images can be used as a reference for redrawing.

Can you help me choose the right plastic for my project?+

Yes. Material selection is part of our design service — we'll advise on the right plastic based on strength, clarity, UV exposure, temperature, chemical resistance, and budget.
