What Is The Best Material For A Reusable Stencil?+

For most paint-marking jobs we recommend 3mm or 5mm foamed PVC, it is lightweight, rigid, easy to clean and holds detail well across thousands of paint cycles. For heavy industrial or chemical environments we cut from rigid PVC or polypropylene. Send us your application and we will recommend the right grade.

Can You Cut A Stencil From My Own Artwork?+

Yes, supply your design as an AI, EPS, PDF, DXF or even a clean JPEG or PNG and we will convert it to a cuttable file. We can also redraw fonts, logos and symbols for you. There is no minimum order, single stencils through to production runs are welcome.

How Big Can You Cut A Stencil?+

Our CNC router cuts up to 3000 x 2000mm in a single piece. Larger floor and car-park stencils can be supplied in interlocking sections with registration marks for accurate alignment on site. Standard stencil thicknesses are 3mm, 5mm and 10mm.

How Do I Clean A PVC Stencil After Use?+

Wipe with thinners or solvent that matches your paint type while the paint is still wet. For dried paint, soak the stencil briefly and scrub with a soft brush. Pressure-washing is fine on thicker foamed PVC and rigid PVC sheet. Store flat to prevent warping.
