Holland Plastics designs and manufactures custom plastic signage from our workshop in Molendinar on the Gold Coast. We fabricate everything from flat-cut acrylic letters and LED lightboxes through to vacuum-formed sign faces and large-format ACM panels, all in-house, with full CNC laser cutting, CNC routing and vacuum forming capability.

Signage We Manufacture
Each sign type has a different fabrication path. Flat-cut letters and logos are laser-cut directly from cast acrylic sheet. Illuminated lightboxes are built up from laser-cut faces, aluminium or acrylic returns, and LED modules wired in-house. Vacuum-formed sign faces are pulled over CNC-machined moulds for consistent production runs. We recommend the right construction method based on your location, budget and intended service life.
Materials We Use
Cast Acrylic (Perspex): clear, opal, coloured and mirror. The standard material for laser-cut letters and illuminated sign faces, with UV-stable grades available for outdoor use.
ACM (Aluminium Composite): lightweight rigid panels for flat facade signs, directory boards and building identification. Takes direct print or vinyl overlay.
Foamed PVC: lightweight, easily routed and printed. Ideal for short to medium-term signage, event boards and wayfinding.
Polycarbonate: high-impact outdoor sign faces and lightbox panels. Does not flame-polish like acrylic but offers superior impact resistance.
Corflute: low-cost short-term signage for real estate, construction site and event use.
Stainless steel: laser-cut for premium architectural letters and plaques, available in brushed and mirror finish.
File Formats And Artwork
We accept the following file formats for sign production. Vector files (preferred): AI, EPS, PDF, DXF, DWG, SVG. 3D files: STEP, IGS for built-up or dimensional signage. Raster files (quoting only): JPEG, PNG, not suitable for production cutting.
If you do not have production-ready artwork, our in-house team can redraw your logo or concept into a cutting file. Provide your existing artwork in any format and we will advise on what is needed. Pantone and RAL colour matching is available for vinyl-applied finishes.
Turnaround Times
