CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
UHMWPE is resistant to Acids, Salts & salt solutions, Alcohols, oils, fats, waxes & many solvents.
All PE material is affected by strong oxidizing agents such as nitric acid, chromic acid or halogens.
Aromatics and Halogenated hydrocarbons cause swelling.
U.V RESISTANCE
Sheet & Rod products of UHMWPE are supplied in two colours
White which is non UV
Black which has a slightly higher UV protection than white.
APPLICATIONS
Flow promoting liners to resist sliding abrasion and to assist release, Conveyor components subject to high wear and requiring low friction. Componentry in direct contact with food stuffs. Parts subject to high impact stresses.
